How does the Adapplicator work?

With the Adapplicator, sublingual, buccal and nasal therapies become routine and hence available for many areas of indication. The goods in the ampoule are directly atomized with the device.

This atomizing process improves the application of solutions onto the skin and mucous membranes. The application is simple and quick. After opening the ampoule, this is placed into the ampoule carrier. The spray head with the hose is placed into the ampoule and then locked in place with the ampoule carrier. The spray of the fluid is initiated by pressing the pump with the thumb or index finger. A push of the spray pump with the Adapplicator is equal to a defined spray volume of approx. 0.09ml per push. The spraying causes a spread of the dissolved active agent. The relatively small volume nets the highly vascularized surface. After several seconds, the next pushes can be applied – which avoids the swallowing of the active agent. Six (6) pushes in a row have proven to be most effective: 2 buccal left, 2 buccal right and 2 pushes strictly sublingual.

Handling:

1^st step: Present goods in ampoules with POC are broken open and placed into the ampoule carrier.
2^nd step: The spray head with hose are placed into the ampoule and locked in placed on the ampoule carrier. The system is then ready to spray.
3^rd step: The spray of the fluid is activated by pushing the pump unit downwards with the thumb or index finger.
4^th step: Change the ampoule and dispose of the empty ampoule.

Application information:

One spray push with the Adapplicator is equivalent to a defined volume of 0.09ml per push.
The application is carried out sublingual, buccal, laryngeal or nasal. Spraying onto the tongue should be avoided.
The Adapplicator is a Class 1 medical product. It is available in the sizes 1ml, 2ml, 5ml, and 10ml. Special sizes and spray heads are optional upon demand.
